Role Overview
The PR & Marketing Associate will own the company's communications, branding, and marketing function, working closely with the Business Development Lead to build OrbitAID's external voice and visibility in the space and deep-tech ecosystem. This role carries end-to-end responsibility for corporate communications, media engagement, brand management, and marketing collateral, with direct exposure to business development, investor relations, and government-facing initiatives in a fastpaced space technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of corporate communications, public relations, branding, and marketing strategy across the organization
- Manage relationships with external PR agencies, media partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders, coordinating communication campaigns from planning through execution
- Lead the creation and upkeep of marketing and communication materials, including brochures, presentations, newsletters, website content, and social media assets, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
- Support in executing the social media and content calendar aligned with OrbitAID's positioning in the on-orbit servicing space
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (BD, Policy & Legal, Finance, Technical) to gather inputs and translate technical or commercial content into clear external-facing narratives
- Plan and support industry events, conferences, webinars, and outreach initiatives, including content development and logistical coordination
- Track and report on communication and marketing performance, refining strategy based on outcomes
- Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, market developments, competitor activity, and space-sector news to inform positioning and messaging
- Support media outreach, press releases, and public statements in coordination with leadership

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies, Design, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in PR, marketing, or corporate communications preferred; strong candidates from adjacent industries will also be considered
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write for varied audiences (investors, government, media, general public)
- Proven coordination and stakeholder management abilities, including managing external agencies and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides for professional presentations
- Working proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid understanding of marketing, branding, and communication strategy, with the ability to operate independently once given direction
- Comfortable owning deliverables end-to-end in a small, fast-moving team
